BASIL GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE Rodentia. No idea what a mouse is wearing clothes for, but then again I'm not really sure why some of the animals here are talking either so maybe it's just part of what makes this place so strange. Inquisitive sort, seems fairly rational. I get the feeling it's been a while since he was around anyone relatively close in stature, but he still had the social know-how to apologize for almost knocking me out with a book. Not sure how high of a bar that is, though.
